Lylirra has announced that the StarCraft II beta will be ending on Monday, July 19th. Players will not be able to log on to play the game, access their beta accounts or post on the forums until the game's release on July 27th.

In other news, Alien Swarm, Valve's new game created by the developers of the UT2004 mod by the same name, releases for free on the same day (Monday, July 19) and also involves shooting bugs. How convenient!
