ALSO, a lot of these boss fights talk about AOE heals being a needed part of most strategies.

Thar'Ignan
Information taken from HERE

The wing boss is a Doombull, Thar'Ignan. His room has a large pit in the center and a dozen packs of 2 hounds each (with a corpse between them) scattered around the place. During the fight, Thar'Ignan will pick a person to grab and "throw to the hounds", tossing them directly between a pair of hounds somewhere. He will drop all aggro at the same time and thus likely attack someone who is not the tank. He is capable of a aoe stun affect that disables everyone nearby for a few seconds and does some damage. He may also do Blood Roots, an immobilizing DOT effect. Finally, he will sometimes hit someone for up to 3000 damage. This damage should be accounted for. Healers cannot resurrect anyone during this fight due to a fear effect.

The corpses in his room are the target point for his throwing move. They cannot be killed, but they can be reduced to 0 health.

He is designed so that if you attack any pair of dogs in his room, he will attack the party. It is possible to attack certain packs of dogs without this occuring. Any time a dog dies, Thar'Ignan regains about 5% of his health. If a player dies (or a player pet), he will regain about 20% of his life.

The strategy that seems to be most effective is to kill dogs a pair at a time while your tank deals with Thar'Ignan. Any time Thar'Ignan throws someone, the tank must taunt to regain aggro. This can be done even while you are being thrown across the room! After most of the packs of dogs have died, focus on killing Thar'Ignan.

The boss drops gloves/boots from the Bloodlord sets.

One bar of influence is needed to enter this boss's instance and a minimum level of 29 is required.

Lord Slaurith
Information taken from HERE

This boss fight, is a bit tricky and you will probably wipe one of two times, before you get it right. Hopefully with this information you will be able to understand him before you wipe.

Group makeup should be 1 Tank, 2 Healers and 3 Dps. One healer beinig AoE Heal spec is best.

First clear all the non-champions in front of the boss. These pulls will NOT trigger the boss.

Now for the boss himself. He has three ablities Bloodpulse, Blood Shout and Bloodscent.

* Bloodpulse(Spiritual damage) is his Stationary AoE that he will cast on a random player every 10 seconds. It hits for about 1500 to 3500 damage per tick. It ticks once per second for three seconds. So about 4500 to 10500 damage over three seconds, of course depending on your resistances. When it's cast you will see a orangish redish blastwave emit from his feet. It will also emit from his targets feet as well. Now considering it's a stationary AoE, the second it's cast on you, you can run out of it. It has a range of about 10 feet(which warhammer considers to be about 30 feet). If you do run out of it before all three ticks he will cast Blood Shout. If you take all three ticks you will recieve a debuff called Bloodscent.
* Blood Shout(Spiritual damage) is a Instance AoE DoT(meaning everyone in the instance is hit even the out of LoS people) hitting everyone for around 300 to 900 damage every few seconds. This DoT will be applied to everyone if someone runs out of his Bloodpulse.
* Bloodscent is a debuff that gives 100% threat for an unknown duration or until the tank taunts him back. This debuff will be applied to a person that takes all three ticks of his Bloodpulse.

Now there is 2 different strats that are known to work.

* The first strat requires everyone spread out about 15 feet away from each person. During the fight everyone will standstill and take all three ticks of the Bloodpulse. Now since everyone is going to eventually get Bloodscent the tank will need to taunt back or the person he charges use his aggro lowering ability. This strat requires everyone to have at least 6500 health or more. Plus a healer that is single target heal spec and quick on his feet. This strat will prevent Blood Shout from coming into effect. Rinse and repeat until boss is dead.
* The second strat requires everyone to spread out about 15 feet away from each other aswell. Though during the fight you will be moving OUT of the Bloodpulse usually only taking 1 to 2 ticks. Now when you see the orangish redish blastwave come out of the bosses feet, everyone in the group other then the tank needs to move 10 feet in any one direction to get out of the Bloodpulse. (Considering he only casts it on one person, that one person is the only one that needs to move. But since it's kinda hard to tell who he casts it on it's better to have everyone move.) Moving out of his Bloodpulse will trigger his Blood Shout effect. This is where the AoE Healer is required. Blood Shout doesn't hit very hard so as long as your AoE healer is spaming his AoE heals then he should be able to out heal it. Rinse and repeat until boss is dead.

The second strat sounds more complicated but still effective. Esp for those that don't have all that much health or resistances. It sounds harder then it really is. My group uses the second strat everytime and has worked everytime. Though we really only have one or two people that we pug so the first attempt usually ends in a wipe so the pugs can learn.

Kaarn the Vanquisher
Information taken from HERE

Kaarn the Vanquisher is a Daemon Prince. Kaarn has three different fighting styles. You can tell which one you are facing by looking to the platform above him and the Icon that is there.

Icon of Fury

You will be able to pull Kaarn from around 2-3 meters from where he stands. If you pull him further away then that, he will become not-attackable. This version of Kaarn is one of the easiest for the healers, because all he does is hit hard and has an AoE shout. 1-2 seconds before he does this AoE shout, there will appear a "!" above his head. Melee dps classe's can try to get away, but has very little time to do so. That's why Aoe-heal is important in this fight. The AoE-shout will do around 2-3k damage to melee dps.

Icon of Blood

There's a longer pull leach on this mode, around 5 meters from where he stands. This boss's specialty is that he spawns "Bloodpools". To see these bloodpools, you need to turn your graphics on high. If you're standing on a bloodpool, you have to move away from it. Although the tank cannot move backwards of forwards after he's pulled the boss, because then he'll become "non-attackable". Which means, that you have to strafe around him in a circle, so that he still stands on the same spot. It's not harder than that.

Icon of Rage

More information required.

Boss fight

Now you've learned about the different modes of this boss. But there's some more information to be learned. Your tank must never loose aggro, then he might move and he will become non-attackable. Kaarn will go into 4 different Enrage. When he recieves his first enrage, he will become larger and his hands will glow red, just like the bloodlust emotion in World of Warcraft. It is very important that your party kills kaarn before he reaches his last enrage. At the 4th enrage, he will kill you instantly, unless your tank use's shield wall, or you're so lucky you block his attack. He slashes you for 15k damage. If possible, bring an offtank, and get him to guard your main-tank. That way this boss is much easier.

Skull Lord Var’Ithrok
Info taken from HERE

EA Mythic finally fixed the Order side quest for this boss so we went to go to Bastion Stairs, and pay a visit to old Skull Lord Var’Ithrok last night. We tried to get two groups through the prerequisite quests, but one of them had some one go afk during one so we only got one group up to the top.

If you are an Order player like me, and hadn’t done the quests yet since they recently fixed them. Here is what you’ll need to do courtesy of this thread here:

1. Find the clue. (http://www.wardb.com/quest.aspx?id=41233)
-Once you’re in the first room of the Path of Ruin, click the blue banner to the right to complete.
2. Speak to the wounded knight (http://www.wardb.com/quest.aspx?id=41234)
-After you’ve clicked the banner, a wounded knight will spawn. Speak with him to complete.
3) Speak to Grandmaster Kaarn. (http://www.wardb.com/quest.aspx?id=41235)
-Once you’re back into the room with the blue banner, keep going forward (right) till you are in the open area with the dogs. In the far back right corner you’ll see 4 daemons on a platform that is branched out from the open area. Kill all four of them and Grandmaster Kaarn will spawn. Speak to him to complete.
4. Collect 50 skulls of the fallen. (http://www.wardb.com/quest.aspx?id=41236)
-These skulls only drop off the mobs from first half of the second PQ. You’ll have to keep redoing the first half because those are the only ones that seem to drop them. Collect 50 skulls to complete.
5. The three steps. (http://www.wardb.com/quest.aspx?id=41237)
-Click your quest scroll (Myrmidia Strictures) at all three ledges/levels of the last (third) PQ.
6. Kill Kaarn. (http://www.wardb.com/quest.aspx?id=41238)
-Kill Grandmaster Kaarn. Turn in the quest at the NPC that spawns near the instance entrance.
7. You need to complete two quests before advancing through the portal.(http://www.wardb.com/quest.aspx?id=41206 - http://www.wardb.com/quest.aspx?id=41222)
-For Raging Bull, go through the left wing (Path of Carnage) and kill the last boss (Thar’Ignan). After you’ve killed him, run up to where he was standing initially and loot the spear. For Emperor’s Justice, go through the right wing (Path of Fury) and kill the last boss. (Lord Slaurith) Complete both quests in-order to go through the last portal.
8. Kill Var’Ithrok (http://www.wardb.com/quest.aspx?id=41239)
-After completing “Portal of Rage”, the quest giver inside Kaarn’s room will give you this quest.

We were getting bugged on step 3, as Kaarn would not spawn for us even after killing everything on the steps. So instead of two groups killing him, only one group was able to last night. Once you’ve done these quests you’ll be able to enter the portal at the very end of middle path in Bastion Stairs.

Skull Lord Varithrok - Warhammer Online

There’s some easy trash mobs pulls on the way up, and I guess Mythic hadn’t tested these with order players enough or something. The biggest hint was the fact that the trash mobs drop Destruction level 21 loot for us, making us worried that the boss was going to drop the same thing. Well we cleared the trash, and walked into his giant arena to gaze upon his GIANT self.

The fight in general was pretty easy, but we just kept either getting unlucky on the silence or getting burst with dot/sunder at the same time.

Skull Lord Var’Ithrok has a few abilities

* Sunder - Frontal/Rear cone aoe this attack hits everything infront and inbehind him simultaneously for 2-5k.
* Single Target Dot - a single target Dot that cannot be removed. It ticked for 1.2k/tick on me.
* Melee Range Aoe - Wether this is an aoe ability or an melee range dot we couldn’t figure out. The tank didn’t seem to be affected by it too much, but our White Lion was getting hit with it constantly. None of our ranged people got hit by it.
* Cloud - Skull Lord Var’Ithrok drops a red cloud at random on people. At first we ran out of it, but then noticed it didn’t do any damage to us so we just ignored it. We didn’t really notice any increase in damage or anything. I didn’t even see me get a debuff when I was in it, perhaps its bugged for now?
* 3 Hound Spawns - Once Skull Lord Var’Ithroks hp went below 70%, every 15% or so he would summon a pack of 3 normal hounds. They usually made a bee line for our tank, but sometimes they would go to a healer or caster. Our tank could tank all the hounds, and the boss at the same time. Its important to get the hounds off the healers asap if they are on them.
