My name is Dade Ronan, I am a pastor at Clavary Chapel Wichita. I am also the General of the Day of Defeat sub-team for |CoR| City of Refuge, Christian Clan. My game alias is |CoR| Gen-Cool_Hand_Luke*GI*.

I don't know if you all are aware, but there are a bunch of Christian Clans who are working together to form a Christian Gaming League with an e107 CMS tournament website. Wow, that's quite the comprehensive list!

I believe I've contacted several groups listed above about joining the Christian Gamers Alliance, but hope to send out more invitations for affiliation once I finish my undergraduate classes next week.

Thank you for posting the list. I will pass the invitation on to Tribe of Judah staff members (including CS sub-chapter leader and BF2 chapter leader).

You mentioned World of Warcraft in your post. I understand how a league would hold tournaments for first-person shooter games, but how would WoW players compete?
 
Hey guys. I've been lurking here for the past few weeks & thought this thread was a good chance to introduce myself.

My name is Matt, but my friends call me mo & I'm a gamer & church planter.

A few months ago my brother-in-law & I started a new website the Christian Gamers Blog it's primarily a console game review site. We'd love it if you checked us out & we're really open to suggestions & help.

I'll keep checking back at the CGA & hopefully get involved as much as I can, so feel free to PM me or leave a message here.

Hello my name is Paul I am co-founder of the =ACC= clan. We are a group of friends from the same church that started playing BF2 together and have since wanted to use it as a tool to witness to people we have also become friends with some guys at ISI (2prosthetics,commando777,commando888,jehu) and we are wondering what we can do to become more involved in the Christian Gaming Community and would love to become registered with this site and help with prayers, support, word of mouth advertising, whatever. Also we would love any suggestions and advice on how to get our own forums and threads going and the the possibility of linking and directing people your way as well. I apologize for the lack of tech savvy on my part but my clanmates are the techies. Please any help is appreciated and feel free to visit our server or my webpage (still in the works so some links on webpage do not work,please forgive)

If you would be interested in having your group join the Christian Gamers Alliance as an affiliate, then please read this thread. As for selecting a forums system and developing activity, I'd recommend posting in our General Discussion forum with your questions. Several of our regulars have experience installing and configuring various forum packages (phpBB2, vBulletin, e107, etc.).

If you did qualify for affiliation with the CGA, we would be willing to create forums for you. Affiliates are not required to host their forums here, but all affiliates have the option.

As for directing people our way, we have a snazzy link button...somewhere. I'll have to see if I can get someone to dig it up.

Also, we have digital copies of flyers you can print out and distribute locally.

No need to apologize! Each of us are given different gifts. If we all had the same gifts, the world would be a rather boring place. :)

Again, I'd recommend posting in the CGA General Discussion forum with any tech questions. We have quite a few web gurus that post on the forums.

One of the purposes of the Christian Gamers Alliance is to serve as a central "hub" for the Christian gaming community, so please continue to post your group's news! :D
 
Just wanted to give an update that our clan changed our web address, it is now www.isichristianclan.net (no longer .com) We have recently got it back up and are still bringing parts of it up but I will try to be shure to post our Ranked BF2 server IP somewhere so if you play BF2 and want to check our server out we would love to have you.
